| 4 CommentsLondon being the huge metropolis that it is, has a great deal to offer everyone from city bankers to freaks! There’s also loads to see and do for the whole family including the younguns. Below are a few of the places we think are worth checking out with your little monsters…
We’ve broken down the following list- in to younger kids, older kids and teens.
For the younger cherubs:
London Zoo – Regents Park
London Aquarium – South Bank
The Rainforest Café – Shaftesbury Avenue
Battersea Park – Children’s
Kensington Gardens – Peter Pan statue/ Diana Memorial Playground
Hamleys Toy Shop – Toys, Toys, Toys
London Duck Tours – A hybrid vehicle- drive around London and then splashdown in to the Thames for a river cruise
Kew Gardens – The Badger sett/the tree walkway and the Creepie Crawlie activity centre
Buckingham Palace – Changing of the guard
Urban farms – Hackney, Vauxhall, Kentish Town and Hounslow
The Little Angel Marionette Theatre – Dagmar Passage, Islington
For the older children:
Madame Tussauds – Baker Street
The London Eye – South Bank
The Science Museum – highly interactive and
The Natural History Museum – Dinosaurs etc
The British Museum – Mummies and more
The Barbican – Children’s productions/exhibitions/activities at www.barbican.org.uk

Tate Modern – Child friendly big spaces
The Trocadero – Dodgems, bungee as well as a huge cinema in Picadilly

Shakespeare’s Globe – South Bank

Westfield – Incredible shopping for fashionable teens
South Bank – An unofficial skateboard area and the Imax cinema
The O2 – Choice of cool concerts





I think your list is great but you have missed out the Home Of British Puppetry “The Little Angel Marionette Theatre” in Dagmar Passage in Islington.
It is a great place to take children and there standard of puppetry i second to none.
