Lets face it the economic downturn has affected all businesses large and small in the capital. directoryoflondon.net wants to help local businesses to promote themselves and find new customers.

Here is an avenue you may not of considered. If you have a London based business, you may not of considered looking for opportunities to supply your services to London 2012.

Have a look at “Business Network”, it’s your one-stop-shop to find out how your business can get involved in London 2012.

Linked directly into the Business network is “CompeteFor”.

CompeteFor is the site to register your company to be in a chance to tender for opportunities that will arise over the next few years. The Business Network site states they expect 7,000 direct contracts which in total will add up to approx 75,000 opportunities. CompeteFor is a free service and publishes the 2012 contract opportunities.

These opportunities will be in retail, construction, manufacturing, merchandising etc.

It acts as a brokerage service between buyers and potential suppliers and it also provides access to business support services such as building skills.

We love to hear and promote what innovative London businesses are doing to stay, so please email us on support@directoryoflondon.net and we would be happy to feature your small or medium business within our site, either with a listing, blog or even a full article.
